Kellie grew up in Normal, Illinois (Yep, it's a real town!) with two older sisters & three step-brothers, whose relationships revolved mostly around sports & food! She got her first real taste for travel & performing while touring the U.S. with the Young Continentals for two summers during her pre-teen years. Her love for musical theater was cultivated during high school with the Normal Parks & Recreation’s Summer Theatre program.
She received a full scholarship from Louisiana State University where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance, graduating with honors.
Kellie then moved back to the Midwest and performed in prominent theaters throughout the Chicago area including Drury Lane, Marriott Lincolnshire, Theatre at the Center, Fox Valley Repertory, Theo Ubique, & Bailiwick Repertory -Many earning Jeff Nominations & Awards!
Kellie's journey then took her to the Big Apple where she spent two years fully engrossed in all of its theater grandeur & incredible city vibes that only NYC can offer. She continued the wave of success with Oceania Cruises, starring in her own one-woman show, The Sounds of Broadway, featuring some of the most beloved classical musical theater pieces ever written.
Kellie's most recent adventure has landed her in Los Angeles, where she currently resides. She will always have a home in the Windy City (Go Cubs!), but L.A. is proving to be a real treat as she dives into the tv/film industry while continuing to make her mark in the West Coast theater scene. She is overjoyed that her career continues to take her to areas all over the world, experiencing amazing places while doing what she loves!
